Terms of Sale

These terms apply to anything you buy from Founder Insider (the publisher): advertising, paid features and reprint or content licenses. Reading the site is free and needs no purchase. We do not sell reader subscriptions. Our terms of use cover general use of the site.

Quotes and orders

We quote for each request in writing, based on what you have asked for. Prices are not published because they depend on the work involved. A contract is formed only when we confirm your order in writing. We may decline any order, including one that conflicts with our editorial standards, and we will tell you if we do.

Payment and taxes

Prices are stated in the currency shown on the quote. Any applicable taxes are added where required and shown before you commit. Payment terms are set out in the quote or invoice. Where payment is taken by card, it is handled by a payment processor, and we do not store full card details.

Paid features

A paid feature is written and edited by Founder Insider. It is labeled "Paid Feature" wherever it appears, and every link to your own websites and profiles carries rel="sponsored". You may point out factual errors before and after publication, and we will correct them when the record supports you. You do not get approval over the copy, the headline or our conclusions.

Editorial independence

Nothing bought under these terms buys editorial coverage, influence over our reporting, a place in any ranking, or the removal or softening of accurate reporting. If we report independently on a company that has bought from us, we report on it as we would on anyone else.

Cancellation and refunds

Cancellation and refund terms for an order are set out in its written confirmation. If you are entitled to a remedy by law because something was not delivered as described, nothing in these terms takes that away.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability where the law does not allow it to be limited. Subject to that, our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it.

Governing law and precedence

These terms are governed by the laws applicable where the publisher is established. If we sign a separate written agreement with you for a piece of work, that agreement governs it and takes precedence over this page.
