Corrections
What we correct
We correct factual errors: a wrong name, title, date, figure or quotation, a misattributed claim, or a description of a company, deal, funding round or filing that the record does not support. Paid features follow exactly the same policy as everything else we publish.
How a correction appears
We fix the error in the article itself and add a dated note at the end that says what was wrong and what the article now says. Substantive corrections are never made silently, and the article's updated date changes with them.
Clarifications and updates
When a piece was accurate but could be misread, we add a clarification in the same way. When a story develops after publication, we add the new information and label it as a dated update rather than rewriting the original account.
Before publication
Articles are checked against the sources they cite before they go live. If a detail cannot be confirmed, it is cut, or the article says plainly that it is unconfirmed.
Reporting an error
Write to corrections@founderinsidermag.com with the article URL, the sentence in question and, if you can, a source that shows the correct information. An editor reviews every report, and we correct the article when the record supports it. We do not remove accurate reporting on request.
