Send Us a Tip

Some of the best stories start with someone who knows something. If you have information about a company, a founder, a deal or a pattern you think we should look into, write to editorial@founderinsidermag.com.

What makes a useful tip

  • What happened, when, and who was involved.
  • How you know: what you saw, or what document you have seen.
  • Anything that would let us verify it independently, such as a filing, a date or a name we can approach.
  • Whether anyone else is already reporting it.

We cannot publish an allegation just because it was made to us. We publish what we can establish, so the most useful tip points us to where the evidence is.

Protecting yourself

Do not contact us from a work computer, work phone or work email account. Employers can and do review those systems. Use a personal device on a network that is not your employer's. Ordinary email is not a secure channel, so if your position is sensitive, write to us first without details and we will agree a safer way to talk.

Confidentiality

If we agree to protect your identity, we protect it. An editor will know who you are, because that is how we confirm a source is real. If we cannot offer the protection you need, we will say so at the start.

What happens next

We read every tip. We cannot reply to all of them, and a tip does not guarantee coverage. If we plan to publish something about you or your company, we will put it to you before we do.
