Reprints and Licensing

Quoting a short extract from Founder Insider with attribution and a link needs no permission. Anything beyond that is a license, and this page explains how to ask for one.

What needs a license

  • Reproducing an article in full or in substantial part, in print or online.
  • Republishing on another website, newsletter or publication.
  • Distributing copies to clients, investors, staff or event attendees.
  • Using an article in sales, marketing or investor material.
  • Publishing a translation or an adapted version.

What does not

Linking to us, quoting briefly with attribution, and sharing a link on social media or in an internal message.

How to ask

Write to contact@founderinsidermag.com with "Reprint" in the subject line. Include the article URL, what you want to reproduce, where and how it will be used, whether the use is commercial, and for how long. A request is not permission. A license takes effect once terms are agreed in writing.

Images

A license to reproduce an article does not automatically include its images. Tell us if your request includes imagery and we will confirm what can be used.

Paid features

If an article is a paid feature, its "Paid Feature" label must appear on any licensed reproduction. We do not license versions with the label removed, and a license does not give anyone the right to change the article's content.
