Why desk bylines

A desk byline attributes an article to the team that produced it. It is a long-standing newsroom practice, and unlike an invented reporter, it is true. We do not publish under made-up names, and we do not put a person's name on work they did not do. When a named contributor writes for us, their real name appears on their work.

Editorial leadership

Named editors will be listed here as they join. We would rather leave this section short than fill it with titles that do not correspond to real people.

Reaching a desk

Write to editorial@founderinsidermag.com and put the desk's name in the subject line, for example "Startups Desk: tip". Your message goes straight to the right people. Corrections to any desk's work go to corrections@founderinsidermag.com, where an editor reviews them.

Advertising and paid features are handled separately, at advertising@founderinsidermag.com. The commercial side has no say over what the desks cover.
