How We Use AI

AI tools are part of how many publications work now, including ours. This page sets out where we use them, where we never do, and who is accountable for what we publish.

Where we may use AI

  • Research support, such as summarizing long public documents an editor then checks against the source.
  • Drafting help, such as suggesting structure, headlines or tighter wording.
  • Copy checks for spelling, grammar and consistency.
  • Typographic cover art for articles.

What AI is never used for

  • Inventing quotes, sources, people, figures or events.
  • Creating bylines or contributors who do not exist.
  • Generating photos or realistic images of real people.
  • Publishing anything without a human editor's review.

Human review

Every article published on Founder Insider is reviewed by a human editor before it goes live. The editor checks facts against sources and is responsible for the piece, regardless of what tools helped produce it. A tool is never a source.

Cover art

Some articles carry generated cover art. It is typographic: a design built from text and shapes, not a picture of a person or a real scene. Generated art is labeled as such, so it is never mistaken for photography.

Questions or concerns

If you think something we published does not meet this policy, write to editorial@founderinsidermag.com. If it contains an error, write to corrections@founderinsidermag.com and we will fix it with a dated note.
