How We Work
Readers should know how what they read was made. This page says plainly how Founder Insider articles are produced, the rules they follow, and who is accountable for them.
How our articles are produced
Founder Insider's articles are produced by our section desks from editorial briefs and from public, official sources such as government agencies and regulators. Articles appear under a section desk byline, such as The Startups Desk, because no individual reporter wrote them, and we will not invent one.
Rules every article follows
- No invented people, quotes, anecdotes, case studies or statistics.
- Figures that change, such as tax limits, fees and rates, are explained and linked to the official source rather than stated as numbers that will go out of date.
- Every source link is opened and checked before the article is published.
- Money, tax, legal and health articles carry a plain disclaimer that they are general information, not advice.
- No generated images of real people, and no invented bylines or contributors.
Human review
Our editors are reviewing the archive by hand, starting with the articles on money, tax and law, where an error would matter most. Paid features are always read and approved by a human editor before they are published. Founder Insider is responsible for everything on the site.
Photographs
Article images are either our own typographic cover designs or photographs from open-licence libraries: public domain, CC0 or Creative Commons images that permit commercial use. Each photograph is credited under the image with its creator, source and licence. They illustrate the topic; they do not show the people or companies discussed in the article unless the caption says so.
Corrections and concerns
If something we published is wrong, write to corrections@founderinsidermag.com with the article URL and the sentence in question, and we will fix it with a dated note. Questions about this policy go to editorial@founderinsidermag.com.
